How many Lutheran churches are there in Australia?
The Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) was formed in 1966 by the merger of two predecessor Lutheran synods. It has its strongest historical presence in South Australia (Barossa Valley and surrounds) and Queensland (Toowoomba region), reflecting German Lutheran migration patterns from the 1830s onwards.
